The 5-day 4th CMGS was closed on May 23, 2016. 320,000 visitors went to the show and its total trading volume was amounted to 1.76 billion yuan.
This international show was with big scale. 2,300 international standard stands available there, over 500 of which were booked by the exhibitors from 40 foreign countries as the USA, Canada, Italy, Brazil, South Africa, 300 more than last time; 300 were by HK, Macau, and Taiwan exhibitors; and 1,500 were by domestic exhibitors from more than 24 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions.
Some ambassadors and politicians from Australia, Kyrghyzstan, and etc. attended the show and looked for further cooperation with Chenzhou city on tourism and mineral products development.
Trading effect was extremely sound on this show. “Brazil Rose", native copper "the earth copper heart", and some more treasures were purchased by Chinese collectors. Assisted with the show, great achievements were gained on the investment attraction that 16 projects contracting for 22.8 billion yuan were signed on site.
The project of Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Industrial Park was signed between Chenzhou Government and Amer Group, covering 11 subprojects and 21.8 billion yuan; and 5 projects covered with one billion yuan were signed on the commercial conference.
“1+4” exhibition mode was adopted by the show: the main venue (core hall) was set on Chenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center, and four sub-venues were set in the World’s Non-ferrous Metals Museum of Chenzhou High-tech Zone, Shizhuyuan National Mine Park Museum, Chenzhou Geological Resources Museum, and China Mineral Gem Museum. More than 3,000 boutique collections and over 100,000 exhibits from domestic and foreign collectors were displayed on the 130,000-squaremeter big exhibition center.
About 13 events as sales exhibition, summit forum, commercial conference, and etc. were organized by the show. The flow peak of the show was up to 100,000 people, while the average number of visitors was 60,000 people/day.
